Cara Lynn Albert is a writer living in Nashville, TN. Originally from Florida, she remains deeply attached to its strange landscapes and emotional weather. Florida remains a lasting source of inspiration, no matter how far she wanders.

She is interested in storytelling across forms, and her work is drawn to complexity, contradiction, and the small, often revealing moments where people surprise themselves.

Cara teaches creative writing with The Porch in Nashville, and outside of writing and reading she spends her time watching movies, traveling, talking loudly, and paying close attention to the stories people tell—especially the ones they don’t realize they’re telling.
